A.L. Johnson & Sons is a multi-generation family business that began selling produce in the 1930s. The exact year is unknown, but photos of Grandpa Arvid Ladd Johnson selling produce in 1939 still hang in the office.

For almost 100 years, A.L. Johnson & Sons has supplied Michigan and surrounding states with fresh produce. Potatoes and watermelons are our specialty, but we also excel in selling potato seed, pumpkins, sweet corn, and a few specialty commodities.

Our potatoes are grown and packed in Michigan and Wisconsin. Watermelons are shipped from all over the country with the capacity to store and stage product in our Michigan cold storage. We can ship overnight to Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and other surrounding areas.
